Dozens of excavation trucks are blocking the TEM highway, en route to Fatih Sultan Mehmet (FSM) Bridge over the Bosporus to stage a protest against the municipality.

The traffic on the Anatolian side of the bridge has halted because of the truck drivers, who are demonstrating against Istanbul Municipality’s decision to shut down a dumping site.

The congestion on the FSM Bridge also choked the traffic at the Bosporus Bridge in the Anatolia-Europe direction as well as at the roads connecting to FSM.
