“Even the stars seem to change their position” is a presentation of works by Vancouver-based artists Lyndl Hall and Erdem Taşdelen. Both artists have a developed practice in a concept-driven fashion, and have created works for this exhibition in the form of drawings, video and a sculptural installation based on the concept of time. Borrowed from Marcel Proust’s “In Search of Lost Time,” the title of the exhibition contextualizes the practice of Hall and Taşdelen in relation to the poetic, literal and metaphysical notions of time and how that determines, constructs, and ultimately frames an understanding of a particular position. “Even the stars seem to change their position” is curated by Babak Golkar.
