The Borusan Quartet is performing at Süreyya Opera House tonight for the global premier of three new compositions commissioned by Borusan Culture and Arts from three young composers for the quartet’s new repertoire. The composers of the new pieces are Oğuzhan Balcı, Turgay Erdener and Turgut Pöğün. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths. The Borusan Quartet is comprised of group leaders of the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra: Esen Kıvrak (1st violin), Olgu Kızılay (2nd violin), Efdal Altun (viola) and Çağ Erçağ (cello).
