Wall Street pay checks start to rebound

Six of the biggest banks have set aside $36 billion in the first quarter to pay workers, the paper reported, citing a review of financial statements. If that pace continues, money set aside for pay, mostly bonuses, will recover from last year’s lows, the paper said.
