A heart-wrenching video showing a hungry stray dog knocking on the window of a supermarket with its paw in the Marmara province of Kocaeli has gone viral.

After a couple of knocks, a supermarket employee is seen coming out to feed the dog.

The video has been widely shared by Turkish social media users.
