Two wounded in Molotov cocktail attack in southeastern Turkey

Two people were wounded in a Molotov cocktail attack in a local administrator’s office in the southeastern province of Şırnak’s Silopi district today. Doğan News Agency has reported.

One policeman and one woman were wounded in the attack, which took place when a group of nine people were being tried at the court, themselves on charges of staging Molotov cocktail attacks.

The attack took place at the time when the relatives of the suspects and police were waiting outside the local administrator’s office for the trail. 

The two injured people were taken to hospital. The police have opened an investigation into the incident.
