Two freelance journalists, including a Briton of Algerian origin, have been killed at the Syrian-Turkish border, Reporters Without Borders said on March 29. Media watchdog condemned the killing of two freelance journalists by “Syrian forces at Darkush on the border with Turkey three days ago.” One of the journalists was Walid Blidi, “a British national of Algerian origin.” Watchdog named the other as Nassim Terreri. British embassy in Ankara told Daily News that one British citizen was killed. An official from Turkish foreign ministry said they are not informed about the incident.
