Two PKK militants killed in eastern Turkey, army says

Two members of outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) were killed in clashes with Turkish security forces Oct. 24, the military said in a statement.Two others were wounded in clashes in the Erzurum province in eastern Turkey. Troops destroyed bunkers and an ammunition cache, the statement added.
Across four southeastern provinces, 32 suspected PKK members were arrested.
The operations against PKK militants intensified after a two-and-a-half year cease-fire ended late July.
