Two foreign suspects detained in Istanbul airport over Reina attack

Police on Jan. 3 detained two foreigners suspected of having links to the deadly terror attack in the Reina nightclub which killed 39 people on Jan. 1.The two suspects were stopped at a checkpoint in Istanbul Atatürk Airport’s international terminal before being taken to the airport’s police station.
Police seized the mobile phones and passports of the suspects who were held at the station for about an hour. They were later taken to Istanbul police headquarters.
Early on Jan. 3, police detained six suspects in connection with the terror attack, adding up to another eight who had been detained the day before.
