Two civilians killed in bomb explosion in southeastern Turkey

Two civilians were killed in the explosion of a booby-trapped bomb as they were visiting their abandoned home in the curfew-imposed Nusaybin district of the southeastern province of Mardin on July 18.Mother Heyhat Müjde and daughter Saadet Müjde were killed in the explosion of the bomb that had been set up inside their home in the Yenişehir neighborhood which had been abandoned by the family due to clashes between Turkish security forces and outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants.
The deaths of the two were discovered after father Casım Müjde went to the police saying his wife and daughter were missing.
The bodies’ of the victims were going to be retrieved on July 19, as entering the area reportedly bore risks.
