Turkish virtuoso to perform in Istanbul

Celebrated Turkish composer and virtuoso is tickling the ivories tonight at Enka Eşref Denizhan Open Air Theater with a select repertoire including Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata,” two of Chopin’s nocturnes and two of his famous etudes, and Stravinsky’s Petrushka. The concert starts at 9:15 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths. The master will close the second half of the concert with a performance of his “Ses” for piano and soprano. The performance is scheduled to last 100 minutes.
