Turkish Süper Lig draws made

Fenerbahçe will start its title defense at home against Kardemir Karabükspor as the Spor Toto Süper Lig draws were made on July 15.Galatasaray will visit Bursaspor, Beşiktaş will visit newcomers Mersin İdman Yurdu and Trabzonspor will play at Kayseri Erciyesspor in the other first week games, which are scheduled for the weekend of Aug. 30 and 31.
Other newcomers, Balıkesirspor and Istanbul Başakşehir will play at home against Akhisar and Kasımpaşa respectively in the first week.
Football fans will not wait too long for the first big match of the season, with Trabzonspor hosting Fenerbahçe in week two, the weekend of Sept. 13 and 14.
The Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby, arguably the most important fixture in Turkish football, is played in week six. Fenerbahçe’s third derby, the game against Beşiktaş, will be played in week eight. The Beşiktaş-Galatasaray derby will be played on match day 16, one week before the end of the first half of the season.
The first half of the season will end on Jan. 25, 2015.
