A Turkish man shot by Swedish police while trying to rob a jewelry shop in Stockholm on Jan. 4, has died at a hospital, daily Milliyet reported today.Police forces shot 26-year-old Hasan Güven in the head without first issuing a warning, Serpil Güngör, the victim’s lawyer reportedly claimed.
Police exercised extreme prejudice when they fired at Güven without first saying “Hands up, lie down,” Güngör told Milliyet.
Swedish police have reportedly expressed their sorrow and condolences over Güven’s death.
