Turkish ref Cakir to handle Barcelona-Chelsea

UEFA has appointed Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir to officiate the Champions League semifinal, second-leg match between Barcelona and Chelsea on Tuesday.Chelsea leads 1-0 after Didier Drogba scored at Stamford Bridge last Wednesday.
Several players will be ineligible for the May 19 final in Munich if Cakir shows them a yellow card. They include Carles Puyol and Javier Mascherano for Barcelona and Chelsea's Ashley Cole, Branislav Ivanovic, Raul Meireles and Ramires.
Cakir has not shown a red card in four Champions League matches this season.
The 35-year-old Cakir is among 12 referees UEFA has chosen for the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine. FIFA has nominated Cakir on its long list of referees preparing for the 2014 World Cup.
