Turkish police seize car with explosives at Syria border

Some 177 kilograms of explosive materials were seized earlier today in a taxi in which two Syrian citizens were attempting to cross from Syria into Turkey at the Öncükapı border gate in the southeastern province of Kilis.Security officials who searched the vehicle found the explosive materials, a gun and 15 bullets.
Turkish border police seized the materials while detaining the two Syrians, who were only identified as M.J., 41, and S.H., 35.
Some 51 people were killed in a twin-bomb attack on the southern province of Hatay’s Reyhanlı district with explosives that were allegedly brought in from Syria on May 11.
