Turkish PM visits site of Ankara bombing

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu visited the site of the Oct. 10 Ankara bombing on Oct. 13.Davutoğlu laid red cloves upon the bombing site in front of Ankara’s main train station to pay his respects, accompanied by his wife Sare Davutoğlu, Deputy Prime Ministers Yalçın Akdoğan and Cevdet Yılmaz, Justice and Development Party (AKP) Deputy Parliamentary Group Chair Mahir Ünal and AKP spokesperson Ömer Çelik.
At least 97 were killed and hundreds were injured when a twin blast rocked the road conjunction in front of the capital’s main train station on Oct. 10 ahead of a peace rally.
