Turkish military hits PKK targets in northern Iraq

Turkish warplanes hit targets belonging to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in northern Iraq on April 4, the Turkish General Staff has announced.“An air campaign was launched with eight aerial vehicles – F-16’s and F-4 2020’s – on April 4 between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on targets in Kandil in northern Iraq as a result of the evaluation of intelligence. The spotted targets were destroyed,” the General Staff said in a statement.
The destroyed PKK targets in Kandil included ammunition stores and shelters used by the PKK, according to the statement.
