Turkish man banned from traffic until 2031 for ‘drunk-drifting’

A driver in the western Turkish province of Eskişehir has been banned from traffic for 13 years for drifting with his car while drunk.
Police officers halted the man’s car after passersby complained that he was driving erratically in the Vişnelik district, local media reported Dec. 26.
After detecting that the man had 0.76 grams per liter of alcohol in his blood, police issued a fine of 9,046 Turkish liras.
The man was also banned from traffic until 2031 for the fourth drunk driving violation.
