Turkish, Japanese agencies to cooperate in development

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have signed a memorandum of understanding providing a basis for common development work between the entities.Both institutions aim to strengthen partnerships in the Middle East, Central Asia, Caucasia, Balkans and Africa.
The agencies will share experiences, exchange information on future orientations, exchange experiences regarding human resources development and exchange ideas on developing joint projects, TİKA said.
The agencies have cooperated in third countries in areas such as industrial energy efficiency management, sustainable aqua-cultural resources development and industrial automation.
