Turkey’s inflation in 2012 stood at 6.16 percent, below the government’s 7.4 percent final target updated in November, but still above the initial goal of 5.2 percent.
Production prices, meanwhile, fell 2.45 percent last year.
Food and non-alcohol beverage prices topped Turkey’s inflation rate in December, which reached 6.16 percent.
Communication, restaurant and accommodation prices also contributed.
