Turkish FM warns Tillerson of ‘big mistake’ in moving US embassy to Jerusalem
BRUSSELS
Turkish Foreign Minister told U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Dec. 6 that Washington’s plans to move its embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would be a “big mistake.”
“The Jerusalem decision will be a big mistake and the entire world objects to it. I conveyed all those details to Tillerson,” Çavuşoğlu said, speaking during the NATO Foreign Ministers meeting in Brussels.
