Turkish Consulate staff dies

A staff member working at the Turkish consulate in Greece’s northeastern province of Komotini was found dead in his house. Police found Orhan Çardak, 56, dead in his home after his colleagues reported his absence and that he could not be reached. His body was taken to a local hospital to determine the cause of death. Father of four children, Çardak was living by himself in Komotini’s Yenimahalle neighborhood. Çardak worked at the consulate in Komotini for 28 years.
