Turkish CEO gets Italian prize

Turkish Koç Holding’s CEO, Mustafa V. Koç, has been awarded the International Leonardo Prize, known as the “Oscar of economics.”Koç received the prize from Italian President Giorgio Napolitano for his contribution to Turkish-Italian cultural and economic relations in 2012, at a ceremony organized by the Italian Quality Committee at Quirinal Palace, the official residence of president, on Feb. 19. “I am so happy and proud. I believe our contribution will be maintained by upgrading,” he said.
The Italian Quality Committee has been honoring Italian and foreign business people who contribute considerably to Italy’s international commerce since 1995.
