Turkish auto production to decline

Turkey will produce 800,000 vehicles and export 600,000 of them, the news channel said. The industry is expected to gain $18 billion from exports, according to CNBC-e. Auto production will shrink by two-third in the first half of 2009 and one-third of workers may lose their jobs in the period, CNBC-e said.
