Turkish airport signs deal to organize more flights between UK, Antalya

ICF Antalya Airport has announced an agreement with Jet2.com Limited to start new flights between Antalya and the United Kingdom, in a written statement issued on Nov. 10.Beginning in 2015, Jet2.com, a U.K.-based airline company, will start flights from five airports in Britain - Glasgow, Leeds-Bradford, East Midlands, Manchester and Newcastle - to the Mediterranean province of Antalya, said the statement.
The flights will operate two days a week from Leeds-Bradford, Glasgow and Manchester and one day a week from Newcastle and the East Midlands, according to the statement.
By making this and similar deals, the company can continue to contribute to the improvement of Turkish tourism, said ICF Airports Antalya Airport Board Member Yaşar Döngel.
