Turkish novels now in Lebanon

A publishing house in Lebanon has begun to translate several pieces from Turkish literature into Arabic.Bessam Sibaro, manager of the Arabic Scientific Publishers, said the publishing house had started to translate several selected pieces and novels from Turkish literature into Arabic.
“With the developing Turkish-Arabic relations in recent years, these works that have been translated will shed light on Turkey’s bright face and long history. The publishing house attaches importance to Ottoman history books, as well as Turkish literary works and novels,” said Sibaro.
Among the books are İlber Ortaylı’s “Osmanlı’yı Yeniden Keşfetmek” (Rediscovering the Ottoman) and Okay Tiryakioğlu’s “Kanuni - Kılıcın Yapamadığını Adalet Yapar” (Kanuni – Justice makes what the sword cannot).
