Turkey's TAB to manage Chinese Burger King franchises

Turkey’s TAB Gıda is gearing up to manage 85 Burger King locations in China, feeding China’s 1.3 billion population.TAB Gıda Executive Board Director Erhan Kurdoğlu told daily Hürriyet columnist Vahap Munyar that the Chinese were being newly introduced to hamburgers, and that TAB Gıda could capture impressive growth in the Chinese market propelling the company to a whole new playing field.
TAB Gıda currently manages 430 Burger King restaurants, and plans to increase this number to 500 in 2012, according to Kurdoğlu. The company manages operations in Macedonia and Georgia in its external market.
