ANKARA - Anadolu Agency
Turkey to send humanitarian aid to Gaza in September: Turkish PM Turkey has plans to send humanitarian aid to Gaza in September, according to Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, who added that Turkey’s support for the Palestinian people would continue “increasingly” in the future.

Yıldırım met Palestinian Foreign Affairs Minister Riyad al-Maliki on Aug. 11at the Çankaya Presidential Mansion in Ankara, where he said that the aid shipment would be carried out around the Eid al-Adha holiday, which will take place in mid-September this year.

Meanwhile, Turkey has welcomed Palestine’s stance against the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), believed to be behind the July 15 failed coup attempt that left 240 people killed and nearly 2,200 injured.

Maliki said Palestine stood by the Turkish government and thanked Ankara for the humanitarian aid bound for Gaza.
