Turkey renews travel warning on Syria

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has reiterated a warning to Turkish nationals not to travel to Syria due to the deteriorating security situation in the conflict-ridden country.The statement, issued late April 2, said Ankara was receiving information that “citizens who continue to cross into Syria for various reasons are facing serious problems.” It stressed that “citizens are once again strongly advised not to travel to Syria.”
