Turkey prepares for a possible evacuation of Turks in Egypt

The Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) has completed the necessary preparations to coordinate a possible evacuation of Turkish nationals in Egypt.AFAD is in contact with the chief of General Staff; the Interior, Foreign, Health and Transportation ministries; and the Turkish Red Crescent about an evacuation, according to an official from the organization.
The Turkish Embassy in Cairo also has made the necessary preparations for a possible evacuation, a Turkish official told Hürriyet Daily News.
Meanwhile, the Ankara branches of the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (İHH) and the Free Thought and Education Rights Association (Özgür-Der), gathered for the first fast-breaking dinner of Ramadan in front of the Egyptian embassy in a show of protest against the mass killings in the country.
