Türk Telekom, Turkcell and Vodafone have the top three spots on the 2012 list of the 500 largest informatics companies in Turkey, according to research.The companies were listed by their net sales by the research firm Interpromedya, which has been organizing this survey for 14 years. The Top 500 Informatics Companies List was announced during a ceremony on June 24 in which Türk Telekom, Turkcell, Vodafone, Avea, TTnet, Genpa, Teknosa, KVK Technology, İndeks Computer and Hewlett-Packard were the top 10. Also, the survey picked the winning companies in nine categories such as hardware, software and services.
Informatics market value reached 56 billion liras last year with a 13.5 percent increase from the previous year, the research said. It is expected to rise to 61.7 billion liras, approximately 10 percent growth this year.
