Trespassers shoot vertigo-inducing footage from top of mall in Istanbul

ISTANBUL

Two men who recently made headlines after shooting footage from atop the under-construction third bridge over Istanbul’s Bosphorus, have now climbed to the top of the Akasya shopping mall and taken selfies. 

Pavel Smirnov and Haluk Yavuz climbed the top of the mall on Istanbul’s Asian side and released another video, as well as photos. 

Smirnov and Özcan İpar last month released footage from the top of the abutment of the new suspension bridge over the Bosphorus, controversially named after 16th century Ottoman Sultan Selim I, known in English as “Selim the Grim.”
