Tramway service halts in Istanbul

The tramway service between Kabataş and Bağcılar neighborhoods in Istanbul was halted this morning due to an electrical breakdown.

Travel had initially stopped between Cevizlibağ and Çapa stops at around 9:30 a.m. as passengers, who were trying to get to work, had to get off the trams and seek alternative ways.

Repair Workers are still trying to fix the problem with the power line.
