Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş score big victories

Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor scored big wins Jan. 15, rounding an all-big-four lineup on top of the Spor Toto Super League table.Beşiktaş beat struggling Bursaspor 3-1, while Trabzonspor gave no chance to Samsunspor, beating the relegation-battling side 4-0.
Forwards, Hugo Almeida, Edu and Mustafa Pektemek, were on the score sheet for Beşiktaş, who pushed the 2010 champion Bursaspor to 10th.
Beşiktaş is second with 39 points, but Fenerbahçe, also with 39, had a chance to reclaim the second spot when it visits Manisa in a game that was played later yesterday. Trabzon is fourth with 33.
Leader Galatasaray continued its winning streak earlier in the weekend, crushing Karabük 5-1 to get its ninth win in a row.
In another game on Jan. 15, Orduspor ended its 12-game run without a win, beating Istanbul BB 1-0. That win was the first for coach Hector Cuper at his third game for the Black Sea outfit.
