TANAP consortium to invite nine groups to tender bid

The Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) consortium said it would call nine companies and groups to a tender for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work on the pipeline’s telecommunications infrastructure by a written statement Dec. 25.“A total of nine Turkish and foreign companies and consortiums will be invited to bid on a tender to build supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems and telecommunications EPC work on the pipeline,” said the statement.
The TANAP consortium said these nine groups fulfilled the pre-qualification standards to take part in the tender, which will be made in 2015 to undertake the EPC work of the SCADA and telecommunications systems on the 1,850 km-long pipeline.
The consortium named the following nine groups: ABB Limited, Akkord Industry Construction-Cobra Group, Alcatel Lucent-Teletaş, Havelsan-Milens, Honeywell, OTF Contracting, Prizma Group-Thales Italia, Telvent USA-Telvent Energia, and Uskom-Siemens.
