Subsidies announced for Bursa

Governor of Bursa Şahabettin Harput has announced that 12 million Turkish Liras have been allocated for the preservation of the city’s historical artifacts by the Provincial Special Administration.In a written statement, Harput said the most distinctive features of the city were its “history, culture and civilization” and that this wealth should be protected and handed down to future generations: “We will be able to renovate the historical artifacts, mosques, fountains, castles, inns, ancient houses, and ancient streets that are in need of restoration. Like with the historical amphitheater in İznik, we can help the other towns too. We have allocated a 12 million Turkish Lira subsidy for the historical artifacts.”
