Strong wind delays flights at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport

Several flights at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport were delayed today due to strong winds from the southwest.Passengers were forced to wait around 30 minutes inside the planes, waiting for takeoff.
Airport officials said the delays could continue if the strong winds fail to abate.
Intracity ferry lines were also canceled due to the winds, İDO, the ferry firm said in a statement today.
