Storm Large to give solo concert in Istanbul

ISTANBUL

Storm Large, known to Turkish audiences as the co-vocalist of eclectic U.S. group Pink Martini, will give her first solo concert in Turkey at Istanbul’s İş Sanat on March 20. 

Large is coming to Istanbul as part of the world tour for her album “La Bonheure.” 

A resident of Portland, Oregon, Large balances performing with her own band around the country and touring with the Portland-based band Pink Martini around the world.

For many years solely a rock artist, in recent years Large has branched out into the theater and cabaret world. She played in a Portland Center Stage production of the musical Cabaret. PCS is also the site of the premiere of her autobiographical musical “Crazy Enough.”
