Stone fair opens in İzmir

The 18th International Natural Stone and Technology Fair will open its doors tomorrow at the İsmet İnönü Arts Center in the western province of İzmir. The fair will remain open until March 24.The fair is regarded as one of the top three exhibitions in the natural stone industry, said Mehmet Şakir Örs, a member of the board of İZFAŞ, the organizer of İzmir International Fair.
Some 1,163 companies, including 265 foreign firms, will display their products at the fair, which is expected to draw visitors from around 90 countries. Scores of procurement committees from many countries, including Bulgaria, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Palestine and Jordan.
