Wicked Lasers has just unveiled the LaserSaber, a real-life lightsaber inspired by the iconic weaponry of the Star Wars movies, the Huffington Post reported. The LaserSaber, made from polycarbonate, will sell for a price of $100 as a follow up to a previous production series entitled Spyder.
Previous atempts to produce lightsabers provoked a reaction from Lucasfilm which almost resulted in a legal clash, but Lucasfilm eventually decided against pursuing legal action.
However, the dream weapon does not come without a cost. Recent debates focused on the dangers that come with the LaserSaber, which may result in blindness and skin burns. It may also reportedly incite fires. Protective glasses come with the LaserSaber to prevent physical harm on the user.
