Spain’s design gurus visit Turkey to meet companies

Leading Spanish design gurus will meet their Turkish counterparts on Dec. 10-12 in Istanbul to seek closer ties.

The “Design from Spain to Turkey” event has been organized for the third times this year by the Trade and Investment Agency of Spain (ICEX) and the Istanbul office of Economy and Trade Attaché of the Spanish Embassy in Turkey.

Spain’s leading consulting firms in industrial design, product design, corporate identity design and innovative product design will visit the participating Turkish companies to the event in three days.
Both Spanish and Turkish companies are expected to have more cooperation in the future.

A total of six awarded design companies attended the event from Spain last year and they made 82 one-to-one meeting with the representatives from 45 Turkish companies.

Crous Calegaro, Magma Design, Mormedi, Stimulo Design and Tiscar Design will be visiting Turkey from Spain this year.

In the opening day of the event today, Spanish Ambassador to Turkey Rafael Mendivil Peydro will host a cocktail party to welcome the event’s attendees.
