Trabzonspor has lost the Europa League playoff tie against Videoton.

Trabzonspor looks to bounce back from its European frustration when it visits Gaziantepspor in a Spor Toto Super League match.

The Black Sea Storm suffered the embarrassment of being knocked out of the Europa League at the hands of Videoton from Hungary after a penalty shootout on Aug. 30. Trabzonspor failed to score a goal during 210 minutes of football in two games.

Trabzonspor meets Gaziantepspor on Sept. 2. Earlier that day, title contenders Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe will have tough tests.

Defending champion Galatasaray welcomes Bursaspor, who was also knocked out of Europa League playoffs after a 5-4 aggregate defeat at Twente, while Fenerbahçe visits Sivasspor in two important games.

On Sept. 1, it is Istanbul BB vs. Medical Park Antalyaspor, Kayserispor vs. Akhisar, Kardemir Karabük vs. Beşiktaş and Sanica Boru Elazığspor vs. Kasımpaşa.

After two match days, eight teams have four points while Fenerbahçe leads the league with better goal difference.

Gençlerbirliği, Trabzonspor, Orduspor, Galatasaray, Sivasspor, Istanbul BB and Akhisar are also on four points.
