Sleepless in Turkey
Ballot officials and election volunteers either stayed awake until morning or slept with bags of ballots to "protect" their votes for the March 30 local elections in Turkey.
Hundreds of volunteers who were organized through social media were alert especially in Ankara amid fraud allegations and power blackouts. The vote-counting continued until morning in several provinces.
