Six-year-old Russian tourist dies in Mediterranean province of Antalya

A 6-year-old Russian boy has drowned in a swimming pool at a holiday resort in the Turkish city of Antalya, where he was staying with his family.Hotel officers immediately jumped into the pool to rescue Dimitri Samoilenko when they realized he was not able to get out of the water after going down a water slide.
Paramedics immediately arrived and tried to provide first aid to the boy, but he unfortunately died at the scene.
The child’s body was later sent to the hospital so a forensic examination could be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
It has been stated that the child could have hit his head on the ground at the bottom of the swimming pool.
