Sezen Aksu to perform in Istanbul

ISTANBUL

Turkish pop icon Sezen Aksu will take the stage at Istanbul’s Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theater on July 14 and 15 with her project “Sezen’li Yıllar.”

Aksu’s performance will be an interactive gig, according to the organizer, Most Production, which said that the audience would have the chance to use social media and join Aksu’s performance on stage.

Aksu will be accompanied by the acoustic band of famous musician Fahir Atakoğlu on stage. 

Writing and performing mostly her own material, the 60-year-old singer and songwriter Aksu has more than four decades in the music business.
