A scuffle erupted between a group of Syrian refugees and security forces outside the Şanlıurfa refugee camp on Feb. 26, after the refugees were refused authorization to enter the camp. The group, which was reportedly seeking to settle in the newly-established Harran camp, asked to enter the camp, but security forces rejected the application because they were not registered on the camp’s official list. The ensuing quarrel turned into fight with stones and sticks, and resulted in a total of 35 people being injured, including a fireman, six soldiers, 13 security forces and 15 Syrians.
