Saudi aid to Syrian rebels revealed by broadcaster

Three crates of ammunition whose origin was listed as Saudi Arabia were discovered yesterday in a base being used by Syrian opposition militants in the flashpoint city of Aleppo on Oct. 8, the BBC has reported.Riyadh has not yet commented on the crates.
The BBC was not allowed to open the crates to verify their contents, although questions remain as to how they reached Aleppo.
