Russian woman found dead in apartment in Turkey’s Black Sea
TRABZON
A Russian woman was found dead in her apartment in the Black Sea province of Trabzon on Feb. 25.
Alena Topaloğlu, 48, had reportedly been living separately from her Turkish husband for a while. Topaloğlu’s downstairs neighbor had noticed there was water leaking from upstairs.
The neighbor knocked on Topaloğlu’s door but after no one answered, the police were informed about the incident.
Police and fire crews were dispatched to the scene and they managed to enter the apartment from the balcony.
Topaloğlu’s dead body was found in the apartment and an investigation was opened into the incident.
