Tchaikovsky’s classical piece ‘Swan Lake’ will be on Istanbul stage.

The Russian State Ballet is visiting Turkey for the first time. The ballet troupe will perform Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s classical piece “Swan Lake” as well as a collage of classical pieces from ballet history Feb. 22 and 24 at Istanbul’s TIM Maslak Show Center.

According to a written statement by TIM, the Russian ballet, which was formed in 1981, will stage “Swan Lake” Feb. 22 at 9 p.m. and Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. The classical collage will be performed on Feb. 23 at 9 p.m. and on Feb. 24 at 3 p.m.

The collage will include pieces from “Swan Lake,” “Harlequinade,” “Spanish Dance,” “Don Quixote,” “Scheherazade,” “Karabaş Theater,” “The Nutcracker,” “The Lady and the Hooligan,” Mariula,” “Carmen” and “Tango.”
