Ritz to host pasta workshops
Acquire noodle knowledge and sauce skills with Chef Umberto Cavina at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul’s upcoming pasta workshops. Appropriately titled “Basta Bad Pasta” (Enough Bad Pasta), he will run three master classes on Jan. 21, 22 and 23, focusing on the creation and preparation of ravioli, tagliatelli and cappeletti, using a range of sauces. After each class, Cavina’s students can sit down and enjoy the dishes they diligently prepared with their spouse in the hotel’s Çintemani restaurant. “Anyone who is passionate about Italian food will not want to miss this course,” says Massimiliano Zanardi, the general manager of the luxury hotel. “At The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul we have always prided ourselves on the art of culinary excellence and Chef Cavina’s master class is a great opportunity to share unique experiences with those who appreciate good food.”
